    • What if-Banks were taking possession of homes without due process of law.

What if banks have changed locks in homes I still own for example. What if their contractors had threatened my tenants. What if I have not been to a court yet. What if there were multiple RESPA violations by these banks and countersuits on this basis. What if one believed he'd prevail in court once getting there. What if there were multiple properties. What if there were many others that these banks victimize. What if someone could no longer afford to pay attorneys to defend this type of criminal behavior of big banks. What if this interested the Judge? Hope…

        • By JULIA PRESTON

          By JULIA PRESTON
(New York Times) -- A growing number of United States
citizens have been detained under Obama administration programs
intended to detect illegal immigrants who are arrested by local
          police officers.
In a spate of recent cases across the country, American
citizens have been confined in local jails after federal
immigration agents, acting on flawed information from Department
of Homeland Security databases, instructed the police to hold
them for investigation and possible deportation.

The latest Defense appropriation modifies Constitutional rights of American Citizens. If this is not treason, what is?

              • NH towns - Live Free or Die state ingringes on the rights of property owners

                Town officials lie to the
judge in order to obtain search warrants and take pictures under tarps, in tents and vehicles. This is the second time this has happened to me. Lawyers don't want to touch these cases because towns have the advantage in court.

                • separation of church and state

If the government uses separation of church and state to prohibit prayer in school or the use of God or religeon in government, then how does it justify a person testifying in court being required to swear on the bible?

                    • "Left" Libertarianism

How do thinkers such as Ralph Nader and Noam Chomsky fit in with "true north" libertarianism? While some see them as "leftist", the policies they advocate are usually VERY libertarian. If we maximize our freedom from oppression by both government and business monopolies, we will have a more free, fair, just, and equal society. It seems libertarians sometimes get a bad wrap from people who identify as left of center, but I wonder if having a cooperation or coalition with the "left" side of libertarianism would bring more of these people into the fold to help remove the oppressive two-party…

                      • Judge Andrew Napolitano's run for president of US b/c He is a credible alternative that would rally the consrvative base in spirit & Cash!

Judge Andrew Napolitano should run for US president b/c is a well spoken conservative who is not a WASHINGTON INSIDER.

He is a credible, viable conservative w/ the correct policy views financially, internationally, domestically and militarily that will rally the conservative base and independents at the grass roots emotionally, intellectually and financially in sufficient time to build an organization to win the republican primary. His run would be an historic success.

                          • Alabama Immigration Law requires all business entities to submit proof of legal citizenship along with signed affidavits.

Alabama League of Municipalities forwarded all cities and counties in Alabama extensive immigration paperwork to be completed by each business entity along with signed affidavits proving legal U.S. citizenship of business owners and officers before allowing renewal of business licensing. Each business owner or officer within a company must submit proof of U.S. citizenship along with signed affidavits or proof of documented legal status before obtaining or renewing any professional and business licensing in Alabama.

                                • obama's tax cut really de funds SS and moves the taxes to income so there is really no tax cut. it is defunding SS medicare and related prog

the issue is the tax cut is not a tax cut. It moves the money from payroll pretax to income which is then taxed. so people who do not pay taxes just may move to a tax bracket,or will still not pay income taxes. the payrol tax cut is a defunding of SS and medicare and people would not like that if they knew what was being done. just another shell game from the white house

                                      • local government using taxes to open commercial business in competition with businesses it regulates

Athens, AL. Limestone county commission invested millions to buy and refurbish an event center. The county already had four such businesses, taxed, regulated, and licensed by the county commission. The venture was poorly planned, in that the venue that would accommodate hundreds, only acquired a few dozen parking spaces, leading to parking overflow into local church properties and resulting in formal complaints from the churches. The businesses have repeatedly and unsuccessfully petitioned the county commission to cease and desist the operation due to use of taxpayer monies for a doomed business, in competion with private sector businesses while using county…

                                        • Federal Courts trying to order companies to De-Index counterfeiters

it seems the federal courts have obtained the ability to order that legal remedy (the de-indexing) be given by companies not party to a lawsuit (Google, et al), though we know of no law granting it such powers. Of course, we can't know for sure until one of the accused copycat sites decides to lawyer up and fight back.
