if the fed is exposed, what if the "solution" turns out to be a global central bank?
Seems like several countries are calling for new central regulations, new reserve currencies, etc. on a global level. This can't be the solution to the problem of the Federal Reserve! But, is it a danger?

R: Re-establish use of Letters of Mark and Reprisal.
E: Encourage the use of the Tom…14 votes -

Where is the line that divides capitalism and socialism and when do we admit we have crossed it?
Clearly we already have a mixed economy - neither purely capitalist nor purely Marxist. The terms arouse and inflame and that is not my intention. I simply would like to know at what point during the shift can we openly admit we have officially moved from one ideology to the other?

Mr. Hannan: Where's EU most likely to be headed? Undemocratic superstate or liberal federation?
There's a lot of talk about EU becoming the "United States of Europe". How likely do you think that scenario is, and if that is the case, where are we headed; an undemocratic, bureaucratic superstate like the US is heading towards, or a liberal federation which respects states sovereignty, like the US once was?
