Is there a major philosophical divide between Cato and the Mises Institutes? Can they be reconciled?
Both of these organizations claim to be supporters of liberty but it seems that the Cato Institute has become too much of a "Beltway" organization. What can be done to bring these two groups together to further the cause of freedom?

Please vote for this question. Radley Balko was formerly part of the Cato Institute and the many of the other guests are supporters of the LvMI. We can get unique perspective on this issue.
