eCongress to relocate US Congress to our Local Districts http://bringhomethepoliticians.com for more
Please explore the pro's and con's of establishing an eCongress to relocate US Reps to our Local Districts, US Senators to our State Capitals, and State Reps & State Sens to our City Halls/Courthouses to securely telecommute for no less than 75% of their terms while allowing greater voter access and curbing lobbyists and general corruption.
Article 1, Section 4 and Article 1, Section 5, Clause 2 & 4 allow for this all without a need for a Constitutional Amendment.
This ideas was actually proposed to US Congress on September 14th, 2001 by the New America Foundation as a highly recommended national security upgrade that was dismissed due to concerns that Congress members could not be relied on to show up for work if allowed to telecommute.
100+ Candidates across the political spectrum have included this idea in their platform in this election.

This is definitely an idea that deserves more attention.

Not only would this reduce corruption but the constituents would have easier access to their representative and make it harder for lobbiest to get thier way instead of the people.

This sounds as if it could take the criminal element out of redistricting.

I would support ANY idea, or proposal, which would increase or enhance elected official engagement with the public.

This is the most perfect idea to fix our corruption I have seen. This is the answer to our corrupt politicians being corrupt.

This is the best idea since Al Gore "invented" the internet! Let get these people back to the people they are paid to represent so we can get our country back on track. I support this idea 100%.
